De Joe Kat Show is een twee-jaarlijkse hondententoonstelling voor alle tot rasgroep 1 behorende herdershonden en veedrijversrassen, conform de Nederlandse indeling. Afgezet tegen de huidige indeling behoren hier toe alle rassen uit FCI-groep 1 en een aantal rassen uit FCI-groep 2 te weten:Appenzeller Sennenhond, Centraal-Aziatische Ovcharka, Ciobanesc Romanesc de Bucovina, Entlebucher Sennenhond, Grote Zwitserse Sennenhond, Hovawart, Kaukasische Ovcharka, Kraski Ovcar, Rottweiler, Sarplaninac, Cão da Serra da Estrela en Tornjak.
Maar ook twee nationaal erkende rassen kunnen inschreven worden: Barbado da Terceira en de Oost-Europese Herdershond.

De show is vernoemd naar de initiatiefnemer en oprichter, de heer Joe Kat. Traditiegetouw vindt deze tentoonstelling plaats op Hemelvaartsdag. Eveneens traditiegetrouw is dit een "openlucht tentoonstelling". Dit betekent dat u rekening dient te houden met de weersomstandigheden.

Covid rules

• Closure by RING when the maximum has been reached;
• Following the exceptional situation due to covid, breed judges can be altered without notice; 
• Full digital ring administration and free online catalog;
• Judging according time schedule ;
• Exhibitors are welcome 30 minutes before and have to leave the show ground immediatly after their judging;
• Visitors are not allowed - 1 Dog = 1 Person;
• Mouth masks are mandatory on  the showground;
• Preventive measures according to government regulations at the time of the exhibition.  (See FAQ).
